A small family business rises from tragedy to pursue a new vision.
In 2021, a fire severely damaged a family business in Chula Vista, California. We have been working with the family to rebuild the business and use the tragedy to rethink how to best use this excellent property. Located on a major street between a shopping center and a new large residential development, the building has enormous potential to be a small but thriving shopping center. As they seek to resume their business, they hope to bring in additional tenants to the building and create a lively center that provides shopping and food offerings to the public and opportunities for other small shop owners to build their businesses. We look forward to being a part of that vision.
