PRINCIPAL AND OWNER

Ken Parel-Sewell is a licensed architect with 15 years of experience covering all phases of architectural practice, from concept development to construction documents to contract administration.

He has a broad range of experience in many building types from residential to institutional facilities. He holds architectural licenses in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, and Michigan, and is NCARB certified allowing easy licensure around the country.

In 1992, Ken graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, receiving an Outstanding Thesis Award for his senior work on sacred architecture. Ken's work with GMA has been published in the Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Magazine, and several times in Trends Magazine.

In 1996, Ken received a Citation of Merit in a national design competition for residential architecture called "Design for Tomorrow."

Architecture has been Ken’s passion since the age of eight.  He enjoys working closely with clients and shaping their space around their needs and dreams. With thoughtful design, careful coordination, and diligent technical scrutiny, Ken takes pride in executing all projects in a professional manner.
